Discusses the image of a healthy proximal margin (colon/large intestine). Shows how mucus helps us by providing a transport medium for stool without allowing the passing of stool to rupture the surface, and also keeps the lining of the colon from drying out. Explains the function of the 'goblet' cells and how the intake of water influences a person's colon. Also gives a brief explanation of what glands are.
