in simple terms training although given in forms of resources to the employees it becomes a long term investment for the company as job effectiveness increases and thus profit income for the organization.
Cross training for inside jobs with training under your belt would seem a bit more realistic.
Is the HR manager/personnel the person to do the training for a company since HR is about people management?
Who are suppose to get benefits of training?
Job seekers often wants to know if the company offers training opportunities. People want to advance in their own career objectives.
Good for your business - Training can improve business performance, profit and staff morale. Advantages to your business include: you choose what new skills your workforce gains, targeting skills to meet the needs of your operation for now and in the future training your staff can result in better customer service, better work safety practices and productivity improvements you demonstrate to your workforce that you value them enough to invest in them, improving loyalty and staff retention. In turn, retention is a saving to you. Good for your workers - Training has many benefits for your staff: they acquire new skills, increasing their contribution to the business and building their self-esteem the training they do can take them into other positions within the organisation – positions with better prospects and/or better pay they’re upskilled to do new and different tasks, which keeps them motivated and fresh because they’re being trained on your time, they see that you value them enough to invest in them. In my point of view, the company or organization should invest in the employees as training. The training can be a source of a competitive advantage for a company and it can provide greater skill and knowledge to the employees. And also the employee need to an active in training and continuous learning can help single develop expert power not only responsible the organization. The training is preparing employees for future roles and responsibilities when the company set up a new job tasks.
THE COMPANY PROVIDES TRAINING FOR THE EMPLOYEE, IT IS UP TO HIM TO ABSORB WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT. IN THE END IT WORKS OUT TO THE EMPLOYEE'S BENEFIT AS THE EMPLOYEE IS WELL TRAINED. THERE IS A COMPETITIONS AMONGST COMPANIES WHICH WORKS OUT THE COMPANIES ADVANTAGE.
Benefits of training helps to increased employees skills, motivate them in performance etc which also increased company's profit and reduced cost
List three benefits of job training to an employee
Training can be a source of a competitive advantage for a company. The primary benefit to the company is the result of an accumulation of smaller benefits. Also, the well-trained employee creates an advantage for him or herself.
Training provides greater skill and knowledge to the employees, which translate into any number of improved job performances. The belief is that providing employees with training will result in increased profits - the improved performance or error reduction of the employees results in cost reduction for the company.
The company is not the only beneficiary of employee training, the employee benefits quite a bit as well. By attending training sessions, employees can deepen their existing skill set, increase their overall skill set and increase their understanding of the organization.
Additionally, the trained employee becomes more marketable in the event that he or she searches for another job - more and better skills will often lead to better or higher paying jobs.
Other benefits that the company and employee enjoy as a result of utilizing a company’s training systems include the following:
increased job satisfaction and morale among employees
increased employee motivation
increased efficiencies in processes, resulting in financial gain
increased capacity to adopt new technologies and methods
increased innovation in strategies and products
reduced employee turnover
enhanced company image, e.g. conducting ethics training (note that this is not a good reason for ethics training!)
risk management, e.g. training about sexual harassment, diversity training
