The Aerobic System

The changes seen in this system are more complicated than the anaerobic
system. Where the anaerobic system primarily deals with maximal intensity
work, the aerobic system deals with a range of intensity levels. It is
important to understand the changes that occur at the , at, at intensity
and at intensity.
* increase in myoglobin  content. Myoglobin is a transporter, similar
to haemoglobin. Myoglobin transports oxygen into the muscle cell, having
been delivered by the haemoglobin.
* increase in the size, number and surface area of the mitochondria 
* increase in glycogen stores
* increase in the oxidation of fat
