Samuel F. 1 0 How do I compute the units of production method of depreciation?
Harrison A. 1 0 There are reasons why a company's break-even pointswill increase.one reason is an increase in the compay's fixed cost, such as rent, depreciation ,salaries of managers and executives etc .Second reason for an increase in a company's break-even points is a reduction in the contribution margin .The contribution margin is sales minus the variable cost and variable expenses .An increase in the variable and expenses without a corresponding increase in the selling prices will cause the contribution margin to shrink .with less contribution margin,it will take more sales inorder to cover the fixed costs and fixed expenses.A decrease in selling pric will also increse the break-even point.
