Dietary imbalance and diet-related diseases
When the dietary intake has been in excess of dietary requirements for a
long period of time, diet-related diseases and disorders can develop. Other
risk factors that may increase the development of diet-related diseases
include lack of exercise and a genetic predisposition to the disease.
