Intermediate Mathematics - Quotient of two functions

Quotient of two functions

The _quotient_ of two functions is formed when one function is divided by
the other function.

The derivative of this quotient of functions requires the use of the
_Quotient Rule_:

The process can be thought of as 'the second function multiplied by the
derivative of the first function minus the the first function multiplied by
the derivative of the second function, all divided by the second function
squared'.
