Intermediate Mathematics - Product of two functions
Product of two functions
The product of two functions is formed when the functions are multiplied
together. If u(x) and v(x) are two functions of _x,_ then the product is
_f(x) = u(x)v(x) or y = uv_
The derivative of this product of functions requires the use of the
_Product Rule:_
The process can be thought of as 'the second function' multiplied by the
derivative of the first function the first function multiplied by the
derivative of the second function.
