Which term has that value?

A gardener breeds five new bulbs for a unique yellow and green flower. The
bulbs triple in number every year and the farmer plans his farm to be in
full production when he has planted 32,805 bulbs. How many years will it
take to achieve full production?

Which term of the sequence {5, 15, 45, 135 ......... } is equal to 32 805?

NOTE: Although this problem could easily be solved by continually
multiplying by 3 on your calculator, the method used here is important -
expecially with more difficult application problems.
