The wave equation for light
These relationships hold for the entire electro-magnetic spectrum. 
They can be used to calculate any one of the factors in the equation from a
knowledge of the other two.
Note that there is an inverse relationship between wavelength and
frequency:  as frequency increases, wavelength decreases and vice-versa.
This can be clearly seen in the electromagnetic spectrum.
