Circular and elliptical orbits
Orbit Pro demonstrates circular and elliptical orbits
Some objects orbit the central body in a circular orbit. Artificial
satellites generally have a circular orbit around the Earth.
Other objects have elliptical orbits. Natural satellites often do not have
a circular orbit. Halley's comet orbits the sun with extremely elliptical
orbit that takes 74 to 80 years to complete.
