I can also attest to the fact that large scale organisation also help in the development of rural areas especially in Nigeria through provision of good road, healthcentres, etc. All these can be achieved through cooperate social responsibility (SCR)
Now I understand better how am suppose to contribute towards the growth of our nation and lives of our people.
Government is a larger employeer. BUT large scale organisation also play an important role in the creation of employment. Gvts should support such organisations
Good for the economy.
Good and Services
Most large scale organizations contribute to the economy by more job availability, money back into the economy also through scholarships, donations to charities and schools and some churches.
Large multinational organizations often move operations around the globe and avoid tax revenues all the time. This needs to be addressed. As for the fact that some of these organizations operate as de facto diplomats this is really a fiction. The corporations are freely moving capital, and similar to colonization, they are using resources and cheap labor to lower expenses. Much of the world multinational companies also have been known to bribe officials. In the lesson the word : Organization, in its many forms, is being misspelled.
Large scale organizations are very important. The most important are to employ lots of people in the work place so that they can earn a living and support their families. They also contribute to the countries over all economy by providing goods and services, and if they are multi-national they contribute to the international economy and bring benefits to the host country.

Contributions of large-scale organisations to the economy
Large-scale organisations make a significant contribution to the economy
as a whole and it is for this reason that governments take a special
interest in the successful operation of these organisations
The main significant contributions that these organisations make include:
* - any downturn in organisational performance which sees these
organisations downsize the number of their employees or close part or all
of their operations will have a significant impact on the community. Also,
these organisations provide indirect employment through the many
organisations from whom they purchase their components or parts
* - these organisations provide a significant number of important goods
and services not only for the general public but for other organisations as
well. In addition, these organisations undertake extensive research and
development to extend the type and the range of products and services
available, as well as to improve their quality and serviceability
* - these organisations are a major source of revenue for the government
through the taxation system
* - these organisations provide a source of competition between
themselves, which benefits the consumers and the community as a whole
through lower pricing structures and better quality products or service
* - some of these organisations provide the necessary infrastructure or
goods and services, which enable members of the community to achieve
minimum levels of welfare. They may also have a community service
obligation to provide certain goods and services to the general community
at zero cost or at a cost which simply recovers expenses. Some of these
organisations also sponsor certain activities and groups within the
community and undertake research into ways to preserve our environment and
* - many of these organisations are multinational corporations and as a
result are de facto diplomats which represent their country in their
international dealings and, as such, assist with government policy
