Some people in life try to say that daydreamers are living in a fantasy world. I am not sure of that it is just a way of coping.

Lucid dreaming is when a person is aware that they are dreaming and is able to direct the action in the dream; the person has control over the sequence of events in the dream. This has been used as a therapeutic technique where the dreamer attempts to change the negative ending of the dream to overcome a traumatic event.
