    Most definitely a heredity trait. My father passed it to me (I've almost experienced sleepwalking but I always feel myself move or talk and am awaken before the actual walking part) I passed it to my son who frequently experiences these episodes.

    It is obvious that many sleep disorders are hereditary. Which cannot bee found of the exact person to where it had started.

    I understand that sleep is important however every once in a while I experience trouble falling and staying asleep and I am not stressed or thinking about anything negative. Why is that?

    what causes these sleep disorders ? because i understand the body has to relax when sleeping. Why can't it just happens automatic that you sleep peaceful ,no nightmares etc?
