    i think even before any physical motivation such remuneration, the human resource manager is to establish a psychological motivational bases in the minds of the employees in a way of making them understand what the organization in which they work stands for. And also sensitizing them with the sense of belonging, making important parts of the institution. In that way the employees will work as if it belongs to them and that needs to see to the development of the institution they are working for.

    Motivators for why people work other than to survive and meet their financial commitments, include being able to maintain a certain lifestyle such as travel. Other reasons could be power, recognition, authority, security, status, to associate with other people, to feel they are contributing.

    Some of the best motivational tool are the psychological motivation and remuneration. It really boost employees output. What I really need explanation on is on how negative motivations can truly motivate a staff.I need clarification

    i think motivation for employees could be positive and negative. positive: - promotions, allowance or bonus for achieving set goals. upgrade of salaries, good working environment, interpersonal relationships between employers and employees and between employees themselves, good working conditions,etc negative effect, could be : threat on their jobs if they do not meet their targets.

    Motivation is always challenging due to the individual employees are all different, so as a former Manager, I had to realize each individuals personal reason for working and assist them in them helping the organization.
