Physics - Work done

Work done

The work done [1] by an electrical device refers to how much electrical
energy is converted into other forms of energy. Since voltage is equal to
the work done per unit charge, the work done can be calculated if the
number of charges passing through the device, and the voltage drop across
the device, are known.
