    guys i got confused in this part. we have phases before SDLC like : investigation , planing and design ...etc now we will study another phases like : planing , analysis , ....etc how i can split these phases .. i think i will mix when they ask me about planing phase in general and planing phase in SDLC. what do you think?

    I find the planning phase to be the most interesting and necessary part of the project, as it lays a foundation for the project, allowing one to manage who will be doing what and when. If done effectively the rest of the development life cycle should run very smoothly.
