Do the phases go one after another? If yes, I do not agree that the phase "monitoring and evaluation" comed at the end. To my understanding the monitoring should be dome through the whole project.

To my understanding, all phases are important because if one is done poorly the project becomes poor too. The execution depends on the information you have captured during the investigation and actually this phase seems to be the important one because when you come up with wrong investigations, you plan and design poorly and the production cost becomes poor too.

There are4 distinct phases or steps involved with managing a project. There are many versions of the phases described. it is beneficial to review regularly to ensure the project continues to accomplish what it set out to do.

from this unit, i understand that the methodology of project management goes through four main concepts, no matter the number of books related read or the different procedures taken into account. they all go through investigation, planning and design, production and, monitoring and evaluation. going through all these concepts will be helpful to the future project builders and I think that is worth considering!!!!!!!
