English - Act three, scene six

Act three, scene six

It is in this scene that word "tyrant' is first used to describe Macbeth.
Talking to Lord Lennox reveals Macbeth's anger towards Macduff who has
spoken out against him and fled to England to raise an army. The audience
learns that a plan is to be put in place that would restore order and peace
to Scotland by overthrowing Macbeth. The final words of this scene:

' a swift blessing
May soon return to this, our suffering country
Under a hand accursed'

further demonstrates the destructive power of Macbeth's rule.
