Economics - The Lorenz curve

The Lorenz curve

Income distribution can be illustrated using a Lorenz curve.

The Lorenz curve, in the diagram, shows that the wealthiest 10% of the
population earn approximately 35% of the income. The further the Lorenz
curve is away from the line of absolute equality, the more unequal the
income distribution.
