Chemistry - Common laboratory titrations
Common laboratory titrations
A common chemistry experiment is the determination of an approximately 0.1
M solution of hydrochloric acid against a sodium carbonate solution of
known concentration, using methyl orange as an indicator.
Methyl orange will display a yellow colour in slightly basic solutions and
a pink colour in slightly acidic solutions.
