Exam techniques for graphs and tables
An important skill is to be able to interpret data presented graphically
and in tables. You may be asked to draw a graph of data given in a question
or you may be asked to interpret given graphs. Graphs can help the
interpretation of seemingly complex data.
an overview is useful to give you a feel of what is being presented.
* title (not always there!)
* axes: labels and units
* read introductory paragraph or background information: circle/underline
* are there patterns or trends?
