Advanced Mathematics - Example 4
A 60 litre tank is filled with a brine solution of 50g of salt. Clean
water pours into the tank at 4 litres per minute and is stirred constantly.
The water runs out at the same rate. How much salt is in the solution after
4 litres per minute of plain water flows into a tank and 4 litres of salty
water flows out. Q is the amount of salt in the tank (grams). The tank
contains 60 litres of water (initially with 50 g of salt).
