Writing - Reflective writing 6

Reflective writing 6

Now try to develop a reflection in about two hundred words.

REFLECTION 1:
Is your focus narrow enough? Are you writing about something very
specific like "the first time I went to Brighton" and not "going on a
holiday"?

REFLECTION 2:
Is your writing detailed and specific?

REFLECTION 3:
Is it you talking through your writing or could it be anybody?

REFLECTION 4:
Can you be precise about what the focus of your writing now means to
you, even if it means very little at all?

WRITING 1:
Make sure you are selective about how you relate your reflection. You
don't need an event list.

WRITING 2:
Make sure your sentences develop from one to the next. You don't want
the ideas to jump from one to the next.

WRITING 3:
Make sure you use words that are accurate.

WRITING 4:
Make sure your reader can hear YOUR voice in the writing and not just
anybody's.
