This course explains the role of digital technology in everyday life. It
also explains the basic concepts and features of digital audio, video, and

Audience Description
This course is intended for anyone who wants to acquire digital literacy
skills.
Prerequisites
Students should have basic reading and comprehension skills at the level
required to read a local newspaper. Students should have taken the first
course on Computer Basics, or have equivalent computer skills.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to understand the role of
digital technology in everyday life. You will also be able to understand
the characteristics of digital audio, video, and photography. You will also
be able to identify the different career opportunities that are available
to people who have an adequate knowledge of computers.
