Lesson 2 - Common Features and Commands 2.4 - Using the Toolbars Using the Toolbars When you work with a program, you might frequently use certain commands. For example, if you are typing a business letter, you may want to copy and paste text, make changes to the font style, and indent the text. Instead of using the commands from the menu bar, you can directly access the commonly used commands by using the Quick Access Toolbar and the Mini toolbar. The Quick Access Toolbar is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands. This toolbar always appears at the top of an open document. On the Quick Access Toolbar, you can also add buttons for the commands that you use frequently. The Mini toolbar appears only when you select text in a document. You can change the size, font, or color of the text by using the options from this toolbar. In this simulated lab, you will make changes to a document by using common toolbar options. Click to launch the lab. Follow the steps to complete the lab.
