Functions which return multiple answers are known as dynamic arrays.
RANDARRAY function creates a whole table of random numbers according to a set criteria.
The cells in which the dynamic array will return a value must be empty or Excel will return an error.
The '#' symbol is used to reference the range created by a dynamic array.
UNIQUE function allows a user to identify a distinct value from a list of options where there may be redundant values.
REMOVE DUPLICATES function can be used to identify individual items in a list.
SORT function allows a user to sort a list of names alphabetically.
X-LOOKUP function allows one to look up for the text selected from a list against the array of headings and column numbers and selects the appropriate column number.
The TRANSPOSE function can be used to change the direction of a table both horizontally and vertically.
