To texture the tree in Substance Painter, first you need to select the tree, click on file, go to Export Selection, click on FBX export, then click on Export selection. Name your file and make the necessary adjustment, then click on export selection to move your model into the Substance Painter.
To export your model in Substance Painter, Go to file, click on new or Ctrl N on your keyboard, set the Template as (Unity 5), Documentation Resolution as (2048), Normal Map Format (OpenGL), then Select the exported model, wait a few seconds for your model to appear in Substance Painter.
Once you have your model inside the Substance Painter, you need to bake the Mesh Maps for easy texturing, Set Up the Reference, then create layers for different parts of your model.
Holding the Shift key + Right Mouse button is used to change the light direction in Substance Painter.
To create a 90-degree spiral on the leaves, hold the Shift key on your keyboard and make your spirals.
To import the exported model in Unity, select the tree and the textures you have created, simply drag and drop them in Unity. Create materials for it and connect the textures with the proper setting.
