The key points from this module are:

The cornea helps to focus the image on the retina.

There are two types of photoreceptors:
Rods
Cones

The Tristimulus theory of vision states that there are three cone types and these three gets stimulated to give us the perception of colour.

Metamerism is the idea that different spectra can give us the sensation of the same colour and these different spectra are known as metamers.

The idea of Colour Models states that we have a set of basic colors using which we can generate different colors by mixing them in an appropriate way with an appropriate amount.

The three Texture Synthesis Techniques are:
Projected Texture
Texture Mapping
Solid Texturing

The process of transformation of a scene from the 3D World Coordinates to the 3D View Coordinate is called the 3D Viewing Transformation.

The transformation of a 3D scene to a 2D image is known as Projection.

The process of removal of objects that are outside the View Volume is called Clipping.

Window to ViewPort Transformation has the flexibility of displaying the projected image anywhere on the screen and with any size, irrespective of the size of the Clipping Window.
