Pedestrian Safety and Security
Pedestrian Safety is measured by the number of pedestrians killed or injured in collisions with motor vehicles and by the public’s perception of the risk of being hit by a motor vehicle.
Pedestrian Security refers to the risk of becoming a victim of violent crimes. It is measured by the incidence of crimes against pedestrians.

Crash
Crash is defined as a set of events that results in injury or property damage due to the collision of at least one motorized vehicle and may involve a collision with another motorized vehicle, a bicycle, a pedestrian or an object.

Crash Estimation
Crash Estimation is the method used for the estimation of cash frequency for both past and future in an existing or new roadway under the alternate condition.
