Communication Model of Neurolinguistic Programming
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) modelling is a unique approach to identifying and replicating the unconscious skills of an excellent performer.
The components of the NLP Communication Model are: Filters
Internal representation, Physiology, Results, External events
States, Behaviour. Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Filters NLP filters work to give a shape to communications between people. They work all the time in deleting, distorting, and generalising meaningful conversations. The items involved in the Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) filtration process are: Beliefs, Memories, Attitudes, Culture, Personality preferences, Assumption, Meta Program, Values, Current state, Language, Interests
The three important states in NLP Filtration: Deletion, Distortion, and generalisation.
The filters of the NLP Communication Model is what determines the personality of a person.
Cause and Effect in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
In NLP, Cause is greater than Effect. A Cause is defined as why something happens while Effect is what happens because of the cause. Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) can be a way of influencing one’s self and others. Brandler and Grindler developed a hypnotic pattern from their observation of the language pattern that Milton, an indirect hypnosis pioneer, uses with his client. One of the most used hypnotic language patterns is Cause-Effect Pattern. The Cause-Effect pattern is significant because it carries the power of implication. Effect needs to be applied and the mind will generally accept and then alter its path in order to achieve the desired result. Examples of words that identify Cause-Effect patterns are: Because, Then, When, While, If
