Introduction to Neurolinguistic Programming
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) encompasses the three most influential components involved in producing human experience: Neurology, linguistic, and programming. The neuro means nerves, linguistic means language, and programming means a way of processing a system. NLP is a pragmatic school of thought that involves the development of behavioural competence and flexibility, but also involves the strategic thinking and understanding of the mental and cognitive process behind behaviour. The six building blocks of Neurolinguistic Programming are: Neuro, Linguistic, Programming, Attitude, Modelling, Techniques. Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is founded on two fundamental presuppositions: The map is not the territory | Life and mind are systematic processes. Scope of Neurolinguistic Programming Mastering the skills of creating well-formed outcomes is a way of ensuring that goals are effective and achievable. The simple steps towards achieving well-formed outcomes are: State positive and focused outcomes Consider the evidence as to whether the outcomes are being achieved, Review issues of control, Check resources needed to achieve the outcomes, Consider the consequences of achieving the initial outcomes
Plan and take actions. Systematic thinking is thinking in loops rather than in a linear fashion. When one part of a system changes, there is a ripple effect on the other parts of the system. NLP is useful in all levels of the business world. It is also useful in fields such as healthcare and education. Neurolinguistic Programming can help improve your relations with people.
Applications of NLP strategies provide powerful ways to free and stimulate your creativity.
