Dean became well known within the security industry when he moved into retail security operating as a store detective.
Dean Lacey became one of the lead store detectives in south-east England and became the first store detective to trial the new "covert security" role employed by Iceland's Frozen Foods.
Dean was soon drafting a new role as an employee investigator within a large very well established high street store, with well over 200 arrests to his name.
