In the last module, you learned some tips about how to use the various makeup brushes. This section will give you more detailed information about how to use each brush. You will learn the most common uses and what each of the brushes were designed to do. When it comes to choosing brushes, it is easy to get overwhelmed. There are a lot of brushes out there to choose from. They are all designed for a specific technique or application in mind. Learning how to utilize them properly can be challenging, however, you can do it. There are many companies that produce different kinds and sizes of makeup brushes. The better ones use quality bristles and as a professional makeup artist, you should have a few expensive brushes in your collection. You will notice the difference between cheap and quality brushes, when you are applying makeup. It also makes a difference to how much product you waste. You will have to buy your own makeup and that can translate to a big expense if some of your makeup is ending up in the air or on the floor! Quality brushes hold makeup better, so you are brushing it on and not off your client's face. The more you work with various brushes, the better results you will get. You will find that some brushes serve several purposes. Find the brushes that work best for you. It is a good idea to work under a mentor at the beginning of your career, to learn what brushes to use. This way, you will get a chance to try out various brushes without having to buy them.
