    Dealing with performance issue is kind of critical! There are many a time we will like to take decision in the incident that will caused problem to the organization. But because the case involves hard working employee, we turn to bias. In handling search a case, this a need to applied all the HR management policies with technicality.

    If I saw a co-worker taking a box of pens home from office. Firstly I will try and call his / her attention to what he/she have done and advice he/she to return it, but if persists. Secondly its has to be reported to his/her supervisor and by doing that I believe the personnel in charge should take proper investigation on the reason of his/her action before informing the HR. which will apply the necessary policy its takes.

    If a coworker was seen taking a box of pens from the office, I would tell them it is best to return the pens unless they were given to you. If the coworker refuse to return pen, they should be reported to the person in charge.
