One of the DMAIC of the six sigma important factors when dealing with SCM is the Customers Voice I was waiting to hear it mention in that lesson, but, no luck, therefore let me add few words about the VOC What is Voice of Customer? Is just a comments, customers make about our product or service? It is the statement on a particular product or service. Customer is the one who buys or uses our products/services and they are the one who receives the process output. We roughly classify customers into two categories: • Internal Customers: They are the ones who work in the organization. They are the management, workers in any department in your organization. • External Customers: They are not a part of the organization. They are either the ones who use our product or service – they are simply the buyers, e.g. Clients, end-customers, or non-preferred shareholders, among many others.
