Empires Before World War 1 - British, German & French. - tried to conquer countries to build their empire. German & Italian Empires in 1914 - German & Italy were new empires and were newly unified. - German was unified in 1871. - Italy was fully unified in 1870, due to the French Empire being occupied with the Franco-Prussian War and was too busy with Germany and the Prussians and they could not protect Italy. - Both the German and the Italian empires were racing against each other to seize land and to grow their empires. - British Empire was the oldest empire. - Italy controlled Libya, Eritrea and parts of Somalia. - Germany controlled Togoland (modern day Togo), Cameroon, German South-West (modern day Namibia), German East Africa (Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi), The Pacific Islands, German New Guinea and a small town in China known as Sing Tao.

Acculturation is part of territorial expansion. However, discrimination cannot be denied because Westener's believe that they are supreme among other cultures, causing inequality.

The European Nations are fighting control of land and had country you didn't were still under their control. But for Europe beautiful country side and land whereas Germany too is looking to be better than their counterpart. Europe had it heritage that was part of an tradition of National prestige and help build national wealth. The two world powers are part of an Unified State. As time went by, Germany and Italy, on a race for an empire. These two Empire hadn't been able to build as extensively as Great Britain. But were able get control and grab a hold of fourth world country such as Libya, Eritrea part of Somalia this what Italy had, Germany took control of Africa, Togo modern-day Cameroon. Germany had a of territory including part of China. Which incudes producing "Beer" Tsingtao. This beer has it root in the German imperial rule. Thank you. Rhonda
