Less common punctuation marks 7
/ This is a stroke or forward slash. It is used to tell us that we have a choice to make, or it can tell us that we are reading lines of poetry. The slash can be used to separate lines of a poem.
Example:
Twinkle, twinkle, little star/How I wonder what you are./Up above the world so high,/Like a diamond in the sky.
Fresh made sandwiches. Choice of filling: lettuce/cheese/tomato/ham/carrot.
