    Q&A are great addition to class. Doing only Q&A can go heywire little bit, even though it is guided by the teacher (as Kevin did)

    Rather than just passive listening the Q and A mode of participation allows active participation and engagement, Corrections can be made at this stage, "yes that's true, but we need to also consider B" for example. It allows an interchange to happen that lecturing does not. It is interesting to see how much of the information given is retained.

    Is timing also a factor on the mode used? A long lecture late Friday afternoon when people are tired from the week seems not to work well. Group energy I think needs to be considered so timing can be an important factor.
