While stimulating student's interest is key to classroom communication is very vital; but care must be taken not to take the fact that there is an initial "Pain" associated with any new learning. It is this 'pain' that makes learning interesting. Ever remember trying to solve a puzzle? You get the fulfillment when you eventually solve it after the constant pain of solving it in the first place. It is obvious that our current school system has some hidden curriculum that is stultifying creativity and promoting unnecessary competition. Generally I like this course. It is an eye opener to how you may and may not do classroom communication

I love the idea of the outside clubs, if only there were more time for that. I think building the relationship within the classroom is key and I've had great success when I've asked my students for their input on things we should do in the class.

Is there a fun activity in which we could ask students for their input or just a discussion type format?
