    There are many elements that contribute to classroom communication and the three basic components discussed in this module stands out, However, to be able to facilitate learning through creating a productive learning classroom, teachers need to understand the way their students feel and what makes them happy. That way, you can be able to know the best way to interact with them individually. A case study: At one point I realized that each time I reprimand this particular student, she does not come to school the next day. Instead of reprimanding her when she misbehaves, I decided to engage her in a dialogue instead. For so long, I have never seen her miss school again.

    I never thought of wait time. I expected from the class to respond immediately which was my mistake. Yes i will definitely work on wait time. Really good point to know.

    I never thought about this wait time, I always get anxious to continue. It does get awkward but it's an idea I'd like to try in my class. I believe I'll see more participation.
