I read that students with ID mostly learn social skills by imitating others, is it true?

that was nice to know about the 3 kinds of disabilities, I am looking forward to learn and realize more about the child's disability, it's cause, and how the guardians diverse/interact with children's silent voice.

The technological changes have decreased the ability for many students to learn certain tasks. eg velcro instead of laced shoes, t shirts vs button shirts, digital instead of face clocks. I know students who are not diagnosed with an ID that are not able to do these things. Many of these things were taught to students in kindergarten, now they are expected to know them upon entering school. Some families do not know how to teach these things to their child, and the teacher is left to teach life skills. Finding the strengths of the student and focusing on those will help provide a student with future life skills. Inclusion, I believe is a big part of their learning and experiencing. Exposure to things they may not get or see at home. Sometimes teachers have to be very inventive and artistic in finding methods to help their students learn, even the basics.
