    Whatever methods are employed to enhance the learning for students with learning disabilities, how could results be measured, and at what point would a decision be made regarding the students ability to learn ?

    Students with learning disabilities are potential academic success if, as teachers, we show them our unfeigned love, be willing to impact in them as we would to other less or non-impared learners in our classrooms; if we'll consistenly show them that we care for them in our ever friendly and cheerful disposition which draws them closer to us, unmindful of their excesses and deficiences: faithfully looking foward to their genuine transformation as visionary educators.

    Perhaps Sarah would do better with visual aides/counting aides. She may need to see what the numbers mean in perspective. I had some students that had difficulty calculating drug doses from a copy of a medication label. Once I put the bottle and bag of fluid in front of them, they were better able to understand the concept. Finding how each student learns can take a great deal of time and resources, however the end result and benefits to the student and community are priceless.
