    low iron intake it can lead to diseases and disorders such as; lack of attention, low energy levels, reduced ability to learn, interfere with ability to think and reduced resistance to infections. low iron intake can lead to development of anemia. This occurs when you have a level of red blood cells in your blood that is lower than normal. Iron deficiency anemia is the most common type of anemia and it occurs when your body doesn't have enough of the mineral iron. you need iron to make a protein called hemoglobin. in women of child bearing age, the most common cause of iron deficiency anemia is a loss of iron in the blood due to heavy menstruation or pregnancy.

    even dark chocolate and cacao powder have iron..so if you go out for a coffee,take a hot chocolate instead ;)

    Lack of attention, low energy levels, reduced ability to learn, interferes with ability to think and reduced resistance to infection. Eating red meat, ox liver and taking supplements will reduce the low level of iron. Eat more legumes and dried fruits. Fish and chicken have smaller concentrations of iron than red meat so it is important to try and include some red meat in the diet. Red meat does not have to be eaten as 'a piece of steak'. Minced red meat can be made into hamburgers or a sauce for pasta. Small quantities of beef can be used in stir-fry dishes and casseroles. Liver sausage (liverwurst), a delicatessen product, makes a tasty sandwich filling.
