What do Industrial Production Managers do? An industrial production manager is tasked with the management of day-to-day operations at an industrial production facility. It is a part of his job to oversee the personnel, the equipment and the operations of a production plant and make sure that all the resources of the plant work together to meet the production targets of the plant. It is also their responsibility to make sure that the production goals of the plant are met with the time and budgetary limits decided by the company management.Such a manager may also be tasked with the installation, repair and maintenance of the plant.
