ALISON CEO Mike Feerick will be among a gathering of eminent educationalists, strategists, government officials and business leaders to meet in Australia in December to discuss the future of education on the continent.

At the highly prestigious Frontiers in Education: Opportunities Beyond Disruption in Melbourne, Mr Feerick will discuss how technology is disrupting and reshaping the landscape of education and training, globally.

Organised by ADC Forum, the event brings together the foremost decision makers and thought leaders from around the globe. A key aim will be the creation of a five year program to help Australia capitalise on opportunities arising from changing technologies in education.

The current changes in educational technology primarily affect Australia’s tertiary sector, but are also impacting secondary education, corporate talent pipelines and professional development.

One of the primary goals of this year’s forum is the establishment of a transnational taskforce to develop strategies to deal with escalating international competition in the education marketplace.
