Alison Launches GDPR courses in 18 European languages

Galway, Ireland - 25/06/20: Alison, one of the world’s largest free learning platforms for education and skills training, announces the launch of its GDPR course in new languages. The popular course was originally launched in English and is now available in 18 major European languages.

As GDPR is such a far-reaching piece of regulation, keeping onside of all of the new rules can be difficult, particularly for small businesses. However, if an organisation fails to comply, they can face a fine of up to €20 million or 4% of its global annual turnover.

In order to help businesses correctly interpret GDPR and to implement the necessary measures to protect their customers' data, Alison published its highly popular course on understanding GDPR. The English version has already helped thousands of students navigate GDPR and protect themselves and their businesses from serious financial losses.

"GDPR is about protecting the privacy rights of the people of Europe as European citizens, not just within their own country but anywhere within the bloc's borders. It also serves as the leading standard across the globe and for anyone doing business with the EU." said Alison CEO and founder, Mike Feerick.

Alison is a social-enterprise founded on the belief that everyone is entitled to free education, and that from education comes empowerment. Through its free online courses, Alison has provided millions of learners around the world with the means to improve their lives through education.
