This module gives an introduction to the R programming language. It explains why R language is so attractive to data scientists. An overview of the Rstudio software is also provided along with how to use it and how to set it up for both students and businesses for optimal utilization.

This module takes the learner through the basics of how to use the R console and perform mathematical calculations as well as various other operations. It also explains the methods to assign variables. A description of the different types of data used in R along with coding styles and methods of using comments is provided.

This module deals with everything related to vectors within the R programming language. The learner will be provided with tutorials on how to create, compare and modify vectors. Explanations of selecting vector components and labeling vector elements are also provided.

This module introduces the learner to matrices and provides guidance on how to create them. The key functions and operations performed with matrices will be demonstrated. The modification of matrices will also be analyzed during the module.

This module introduces the learner to the process of creating arrays. Arrays have similarities with matrices and these shall be analyzed during the module. A description of various functions from base R that can be used with arrays will also be provided.
