Improvement (Clause 10) - Management must identify opportunities for improvement and apply mandatory actions to attain the planned results of the EMS.

 

Nonconformity and Corrective Action (10.2) - Management must investigate and take measures, to identify and manage incidents and nonconformities.

 

When an incident or nonconformity exists, management must respond in a timely way; they must:

 

1) Take measures to manage and correct it
2) Deal with harmful consequences
