Internal Audits (9.2) - ISO 14001:2015 outlines the process of management conducting internal audits in the organization.

 

The standard expects that the internal audit adheres to the functions and purpose of the EMS, and that the outputs are presented to top management and to relevant personnel.

 

The internal audit plan must be well-scheduled and developed with a thorough understanding of the system's scope. The plan should take into account the outcomes of aspect/impact analysis and former audit reporting.
