    1. Framwork is all about quality decision making and informationprocessing in organization and need some conceptual model of information. Types of framwork available to a business organization, according to Herbert Simon propses are programmed and non programmed. A. Programmeddecision are repetitive and routine , require little time inthe design stage. Example, entering data into a spreedsheet program. B. Non- Programmed decisions are novel, and unstructures, e.g, deciding on the marketing mix for a set of productions. No one is required for solution, and much time is spent in design. C. A synthesized framwork consist of structured decision making is optional for making decision, and have three phases, design, intelligence, and choice. 2. Various applicqations that information technology adds to a business organization are as follows;- Many firms were restructured and reduced their numbers of employees to improve profiles. This also brought about idea that is change in one component. Again,a change in the enviroment also force the company to restructure. 3. THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF INFORMATIONSYSTEM ARE STRATEGIC PLANNING, MANAGERIAL CONTROL, AND oPERATIONAL CONTROL. STRATEGIC PLANNING- The decision maker developes objectives and allocates resourses, while decisionsare characterized by long time period and usually involves a substantial effort and investment. A good example is development and introduction of a new product. MANAGERIAL CONTROL- This only concern the use of resources and include personal or financial problems. eg an account only determine the reason for a different between actual and budget costs. oPERATIONAL CONTROL - Decision covers the day-to-day problems that affects the operational of the firm. What the firm today and what items should be ordered for investory?. Distinguish types of information sysytem. The purpose is to obtain an advantage over old ways of doing business. Organizations can use technology to inprove their operations , gain a competitive advantage, provide personal productivity tools for employees, even change the sructure of the organization Batch System- All input is proposed at one time to produce the designed out put. while the input data is collected and used to update files periodically and batchis economical e.g a payroll system. INQUIRY SYSTEM - This can be use to request , retrieve, and process for information on-line. This system also accept and edit input online for late updating in batch mode. A FULLY- ONLINE SYSTEM- This system actually modifies files as information enters from terminal. A coommand and control system or real time system is one in which information has to be fed back instanta- nously to control an operation. e.g, Air traffic control system operates in real time and controller can see exactly where the Aircraft are located at any time and the use of intranent and internet too.
